About Amar Singh (P.G.) College
Our Motto is "for the spread of Light", and the institution has been spreading the light of knowledge since 1905. When it was established by a great visionary Ch. Rai Bahadur Amar Singh, order of British Empire (OBE). The Institution was first established as King Adward Memorial School which gone on to become King Adward Memorial Udaybhan Jat College. The name was changed to Amar Singh Jat College and then Amar Singh College subsequently.

The institution attracts students and scholars from all over the country. Being an old and prestigious institution, we have a large alumni base. The old boys regularly keep in touch with the college and zealously work for its development.

In the leadership of our learned and industrious Principal Dr. Bhoopal Singh, we are on the path of development with a pace that is quite impressive. The college maintains well-equipped laboratories and a good library which stocks a large number of old and new relevant books, Journals and periodicals, the library boasts of having some rare manuscripts also. We have good research work going on Agricultural science and humanities. We have our own power backup system, which is run with the help of three big generators to maintain uninterrupted power supply to labs, classrooms, hostel & agricultural farm.

In the extra curricular sphere the college has one battalion of N.C.C. and three units of N.S.S. and regularly organize cultural and sports events.

College has a placement cell for the job requirement of the college students.
